School Goal 2009/10

With the help of parents, teachers, students, administration and our SPC Council, we have developed one formal school goal for 2009/2010.

1. To improve kinderegarten to grade 5 students' ability to write with style.

(On the September 18 Professional Development Day our staff will be working with our district writing expert, Sherry Devins, to develop our plan and collective skills and strategies to meet this goal)

2. Beyond this formal goal, North Canoe School will continue to encourage high attendance rates, school and community safety, and basic math facts acquisition, along with our full slate of curricular and extra-curricular offerings.

(We have planned a Bicycle Rodeo with Skookum Cycle to promote bike maintenance and safety. This event will take place on Wednesday, September 23 from 12:30-2:00 at our school!)
